HAXAN(1929).2:00 am on TCM

Danish director Benjamin Christensen's silent documentary on the history of witchcraft,is reputed as the strangest silent movie ever made, if not the strangest of all films. The film starts out as a documentary. Then it begins to creep the hell out of you with live action witchcraft skits. This is something very interesting. I would love for people to watch it and comment. Filmakers may see things in this old film that they could incorporate into some of their works. I hope I'm not the only person who is going to watch this. I'd love to have some discourse with film historians and horror , genre fans.

Talking I'm looking forward to seeing it.

THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND (1929) is on right after HAXAN. Friday is going to be a great night for horror! Yes , it's HAXAN not HAXON.
