Graphic sex scenes in Italian director Bernardo Bertolucci's new film "The Dreamers" will likely be cut out of the movie before it can be viewed by US audiences, the director revealed. Bertolucci is the director of several highly acclaimed movies including "The Last Emperor", "Stealing Beauty", and "Last Tango In Paris".

"I know there is a strong possibility that the film will be released with a restricted classification there," the Italian director told a news conference in Venice.

"Obviously somebody thinks the US public is too immature for this film, so unfortunately there's a strong chance that the film will be released in a different form than we in Europe can see it."

Typical. Censorship is the most annoying thing that ever came and destroyed films. The market will release movies about bombs dropping on cities and killing millions of innocent people...yet, they ban every piece of excessive sex and gore from a fill with less than 10 deaths. Where are the morals of these people?
