(Los Angeles, California) The “Weekend of Horrors” returns to the Los Angeles area for its 24th year, Friday, October 15 through Sunday, October 17, with 27 of the gory best of terror talent from both film and TV. Right in time for Halloween, this fright-filled three-day event will be held at the Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel, 2500 Hollywood Way, Burbank.

Celebrity scream greats set for this annual blast include: Bruce Campbell, star of the EVIL DEAD movies, SPIDERMAN trilogies, and currently on the USA cable series BURN NOTICE, is back by popular demand; Clive Barker, the master of dark fantasy, creator of HELLRAISER, CANDYMAN, NIGHTBREED and LORD OF ILLUSIONS; and the stars from HBO’s hit series, TRUE BLOOD, Jim Parrack (Hoyt Fortenberry) and Kristen Bauer (Pam De Beaufort).

Several star-packed presentations scheduled for the Weekend include:
 
* BOONDOCK SAINTS panel with Sean Patrick Flanery (Saw 3D), Norman Reedus (Blade 2 and The Walking Dead), and David Della Rocco (Jakes Corner).  
* MADMAN REUNION with producer Gary Sales and actor Paul Ehlers
         *MANIAC COP PANEL featuring director William Lustig
 
Also, scary favorites not to be missed include: Sid Haig, SPIDER BABY and THE DEVIL’S REJECTS; Ken Foree, DAWN OF THE DEAD, FROM BEYOND, THE DEVIL’S REJECTS and HALLOWEEN; Jeffrey Combs, RE-AMINATOR, FROM BEYOND, THE FRIGHTENERS and STAR TREK; Adrienne King, the original “final girl” from FRIDAY THE 13TH; Joe Pilato, DAY OF THE DEAD; and John Saxon, NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET series. 
 
Contests are back! “Weekend of Horrors” will host a Creepy Costume Contest and a Terrifying Savage Tattoo Contest that will offer cash and prizes to the winners.
 
An Art Ghoullery presented by Isolation Threads, will feature talented genre artists Dienzo, Clint Carney, Nicolas Caesar, Todd Robey, Brian Henderson and many more.
 
 
A dealers’ room filled with vendors selling horror film merchandise and collectibles is sure to entice attendees along with photo ops. and autographs.
Also, The Grindhouse Frightful Film Room Room will offer a marathon of horror and cult film screenings, courtesy of The Grindhouse Film Festival.
 
On Friday at 9:00 PM, Weekend of Horrors presents the Carnival of Carnage, featuring live music from A Band of Orcs, the unbelievable sideshow act Freakshow Deluxe and a dark fashion show hosted by Xtreme Fashion Show. On Saturday Night at 8:00 PM, Jeffrey Combs will perform his one man show “Nevermore”, an evening with Edgar Allan Poe. Separate ticket price is required for both events.
 
“Weekend of Horrors” is sponsored by Rue Morgue, Hororhound Magazine, Cinefantastique, and 100 Years of Monster Movies, and produced by Creation Entertainment, a leading entertainment marketing and merchandising company.
 
General admission tickets are $20 on Friday, and $25 on Saturday and Sunday and available in advance through www.weekendofhorrors.net or at the door. Tickets for children 7-12 are $10 at the door only, and children six and under are free with parent or guardian. Evening events are $20. Show hours are Friday,
