'Alien' Director's Cut Coming This Halloween

The original "Alien" movie scared the living crap out of me when I watched it for the first time. To this day, it remains on my Top 10 list of Scare-The-Pants-Off-Me movies. The sequels were all good in their own way, but none of them frightened me quite like the original.

So when I found out that the seminal "Alien" film was making a return to the big screen this Halloween, I got chills.

For "Alien: The Director's Cut", director Ridley Scott re-cut the film and added new footage never before seen in theaters. The audio has also been digitally re-mastered. For those who can't wait until October 31 for a peek, the trailer is now available at alien.com.
