Pictures From Leprechaun 6 Appear On Web

Fans of the tongue-in-cheek horror series "Leprechaun" have been given a sneak peak at images from the upcoming 6th film. The new movie, titled "Leprechaun: Back in Da Hood", isn't scheduled for release until December of this year, but star Leprechaun Warwick Davis posted some pics on his website this week. Here are a couple of thumbnails from the new images posted to his site:

"Leprechaun: Back in Da Hood" will tell the story of a group of friends who find some gold coins and take them even though they've been warned that the treasure might be cursed. If you've seen any of the previous movies in the series, you can guess what happens next.

Warwick Davis stars as the deadly (and funny) Leprechaun. Davis has starred in all of the previous films in the long running series. Warwick Davis got his start as an actor as Wicket, one of the creature stars of "Return of the Jedi". After that roll, he was cast as the title character of the George Lucas/Ron Howard 1988 fantasy adventure film "Willow". Five years later the first Leprechaun movie was release and a new (little green) legend was born.

Other than Davis, "Leprechaun 6" also stars Tangi Miller (Felicity), rapper Sticky Fingaz (Clockers), and Shiek Mahmud-Bey (Buffalo Soldiers). The official release is scheduled for December 30th.
