Horror legends Jason Voorhees and Freddie Krueger have held onto the top spot at the US box office for the second weekend running.
Freddie Vs Jason, which sees Freddie Krueger from the Nightmare on Elm St series face off against Jason Voorhees, the hockey-masked killer from Friday the 13th, took USD13.45m at the US box office from Friday to Sunday, down from USD36.43m in its opening weekend.
The film, distributed by AOL Time Warner\\\'s New Line Cinema, is only the second movie to retain the number one position for a second weekend since X-Men 2 in May.
