A relatively new encounter that I thought would add to the discussion. One of many--
A cool front was coming, bringing the usual black thunderstorm, but this one was a light show. I got the sony cam out, which has night vision, and was recording some of the extravagant lightning. This was late in the evening and the batteries were about to go south, so i turned off "record" and looked through the viewfinder into the dark driveway. About twenty feet in front of me stood a heavy set man. He was wearing bib overalls, cap, tshirt and didn't look happy. He looked like a farmer from the late 1800's would have. I looked up from the cam, but there was no one there in the dark. The security lights came on and I was standing out under the car port alone. We live in the country where it was most likely farm land and was an Indian burial ground for the native Creek Indians. I keep kicking myself for turning off record for just that moment. I will always wonder if.........
