In general the remakes are so ugly... I don't think there is one remake nice.... But i didn't know that there was Shining remake O.O... It wont be great than the first where Jack Nicholson was the protagonist...

I hated the 2002 remake of Carrie, the remake of The Shining, The Tommyknockers, and Maximum Overdrive just to name a few.

There's quite a few exceptions.

It is one of my favorite Stephen King adaptations.
