RESULTS OF CHALLENGE #17 OF HDC BATTLE ROYALE III
I welcome the surviving NINE contestants to Challenge #17 Results Meeting. Before going on to see your scores, let's see what the correct answers were :- You were required to arrange the characters in the order they were portrayed (from the earliest to the latest) on the silver-screen by Vincent Price, Bela Lugosi & Boris Karloff, and also mention that year. There you have it. Don't be alarmed at seeing the films' names up there. Naming the films was optional, which means that doesn't affect your points whether you name them or not. Just the characters and the years were good enough for the points. Now let's see how you all fared... |
The Scoreboard for Challenge #17
The Top 3 scorers get to be the designated Hunters. In case of a tie in points, the ones who sent me their entries first get selected. Here are the scores, in the order in which I received the entries :- Ferretchucker - 56 points ChronoGrl - 60 points (Designated Hunter AND Reward Chamber Winner) Straker - 60 points (Designated Hunter) Michelle - 58 points Bwind22 - 60 points (Designated Hunter) Jenna26 - 60 points Roshiq - 60 points FreddyMyers - 30 points (The Challenge was about the characters, not the films. But you got the years and the ascending order correct, hence half of the total points) Freak - 00 points (*No Entry Submitted*) I believe this is Freak's 3rd straight no-show, and he hasn't even dropped out of BR III. If I don't hear from him till the end of this Hunting Zone outing, his HPs will be stripped and he will be locked in inside The Chainer's container. (Jenna26 & Roshiq both scored 60 points each too, but their entries came in later than the first 3 winners, so they miss out on being Designated Hunters.) Each door has TWO boxes behind it, and they are marked 1 & 2. You may select any ONE door, and anything behind it PLUS the contents of the TWO boxes behind THAT door will be yours to keep FOREVER! Make your choice of a door, and send your PM to me. |
THE HUNTING SEASON - ROUND #15
The SIX contestants who have lost Challenge #17 have been sent into The Zone unarmed. I am addressing all designated Hunters - Chronogrl, Straker & Bwind22 - you chosen 3 will be doing your own style of hunting in the Zone. First of all, remember that The CHAINER lurks somewhere inside The Zone. You three have to send me your choice of the Area he prowls in - 1, 2 & 3. No two of you can make the same choice, or all 3 of you stand to be locked up with the CHAINER! Secondly, you CANNOT FIRE at a fellow Hunter. If you dare to do so, your weapon will either lock up or break, then all 3 of you stand to be SHOT FOURTEEN TIMES by the Snipers in The Watchtowers!! Now...let's have a look at the weapon you 3 will be using in this Round... http://i677.photobucket.com/albums/v...BeamCannon.jpg It's a BEAM CANNON, LOADED WITH ONE PROPELLING BEAM BLAST!! It will cause damage worth 15 HP! You may confer with the other two Hunters regarding your choices for hunting (or your strategies, whichever works for you) and send me your PMs accordingly - mentioning your choice for the Chainer's Area, and your choice of target. The deadline for firing your Beam Cannons ends at NOON EST tomorrow itself, which means you have around 22 and half hours. So hurry! If you don't fire your Beam Cannon, all THREE of you will be shot FOURTEEN TIMES by the Snipers! Also, there will NOT be any "gifting" of health packs anymore, since all of you are independent contestants now. Also, FREAK is asked to turn in his shotgun before the Hunt begins. Likewise, MICHELLE is asked to turn in her Sniper Rifle before the Hunt begins. Choose wisely, all of you...and Happy Hunting!! |
