Congratulations to Trump and his supporters. I didn't vote for him or Hillary. My vote went to Jill Stein.
I've always pledged to support our president until they prove, in office, that they don't have our best interest as a nation at heart. Gotta admit, this one makes me nervous, but I'm pretty certain I would have the same strong trepidation if Clinton had won. Granted, my concerns would be over different issues if Hillary were elected, but I would still have a ton of worries.
Either way, he won and soon he'll be the leader of our country. This alone is enough reason for me to hope he does the right thing. I sure wish I could say BELIEVE instead of hope.

Vote GREEN PARTY in 2020!!

You seem confident there will be another election. I am not so sure. Trump now has the red telephone... ::EEK!::

I always try for a little levity. ::stick out tongue::

As to the rest of what you wrote, I completely agree with all of it.

I'm not old enough to vote, but based on the information I've looked at and my personal beliefs, I would vote for Hillary. I'm fully aware of the corruption and scandal that has followed both her and her husband around for decades. I think she is a liar, untrustworthy and careless, but I can say the same things about Donald Trump (and quite a few other things that I could not say about Clinton). I could not listen to Trump talk for 4 (or even 8!) more years. Is she the perfect person for the job? No, and I don't think we'll ever get someone who pleases all 300 million people in America. Even though this campaign has been notoriously nasty, I think it has gotten young people like me, who can't even vote yet, to become politically informed and interested. Striving to be informed at a young age is important, and if this election has done one good thing, that is it.

My belief is that it's important to vote. But we need to have an informed populace and for the right people to run for office. Those two things didn't happen this time.

I didn't vote for President the first 3 opportunities that I had. But I really only regret one of those times. People should never have to learn a hard lesson. But I hope people watch these coming years. Vote in the next 2 years. And make sure nothing like this happens again. I feel sorry for minorities and people from other backgrounds who might be looked at as lesser and potential criminals or terrorists because of this.

I feel like America is the Titanic going down, and poor Canada is the too few lifeboats. Immigration has already been shut down or something. I was (97%) kidding about moving there, but it appears there are others who took it way more seriously. I loved WolfCop's post on Facebook today about it. They said something along the lines of "yeah we know we're awesome". Can't say they're wrong.

I cleaned my bed today, ended up finding my Frankenstien's Army DVD (which of course meant I had to watch it again right away), and then out of nowhere decided to make a few necklace charm type things with my bead stuff. I may be failing Bio like a boss, but at least I'll sleep better on a cleaner bed tonight!

I think Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness are overrated. I like them, but the only ones I really love are the original and remake.

I adore the first one, but the sequels are immensely silly. I can see the fun and enjoyment out of them, but I don't understand the cult-like following. Have you tried the series? It's hella fun.

Overrated? I'm trying to think of a better term for how I feel about them but I think overrated might be it. The first Evil Dead is a movie I absolutely love, so in my opinion no praise is too high for that one.
Dead By Dawn is a hilarious, chaotic blast but it hasn't really held it's bloom for me as the years passed. I like it, but I don't think it comes close to the original. Overrated? Yeah, with the perspective of decades of viewing, I can't argue to strongly against that.
Army of Darkness has never been a movie I've cared for. That being the case, I obviously consider any talk of classic status to be hyperbole. Just an opinion, of course.
As far as the remake is concerned, it got a great reaction from a lot of Horror fans, and I was one of them, so that one I would say gets the credit it deserves.

They're not bad movies, i enjoyed the first two and even the remake but everyone acts like they're the greatest horror movies ever made and i just don't see it. I just don't understand why people think they're so great. It really furthers my argument that most people can't separate actually great movies from ones they enjoyed. They think they're one in the same. Sometimes they are but there is a distinct difference.

Only argument you would get from me is on the original Evil Dead. I think that was a game changer and had held its entertainment power forever.
And I often say, this movie -fill in the blank - is great to me, but it's not great. I know that just because some schlocky 70's crap like Track of The Moonbeast is one of my all time favorites, it doesn't belong on any greatest of all time lists. Then again, it IS all subjective so...

I need to watch more to give a firm opinion on if you should or not, but so far I love what I see. It's more like the first movie than the other two.

I hear ya. It's subjective. But in regards to ED2, Roger Ebert gave it 5/5 stars (and later changed the rating). It's gotten high praise from film critics, not just Horror film fans.

To me, ED2 is a technical masterpiece -- the sound, lighting, effects, shots, timing, and heck, even the sets are quite fine. It's fast, furious and very funny, and the opening is so very trippy. I think it's a great film.

I wasn't AS impressed with ED. I liked it a lot. In comparison to ED2, besides being a serious horror film, it's certainly not as technically crafted as 2. I think ED is a really good horror film, but not a great film.

Army of Darkness is, once again, a different film. It's loose fun with a few intense and creative parts. I really liked it too. But it's not a great film.

I don't give a whole lot of extra points for "being the first", and I didn't personally think I was seeing any firsts when I saw ED. I think the horror tone is unique, and in that sense original, but not groundbreaking.
