I'm still pumped for in on the basis of "Yeah it'll be 100% different...thats the point. The trailers look badass and Zombie's track record is spot-on so far"

I have faith that it'll still be entertaining. I'm out of town on the 31st, but I'll be seeing it as soon as I get home.

Simple, the state requires that he get nutritious food and... uhhhh... lots of pushups.

Weell.....Robert de Niro did it in Cape Fear;)

I think he's saying because hes always locked in a padded cell, presumebly usually in a straight jacket, there arent many options to work out. Whereas a standard prisoner has his daily exercise, access to weights and a bed to do pull-ups on.

I do think it was quite bizarre casting of Myers. The guy is "supposed" to be average build and about 6ft tall - but I guess the size of the actor isn't really anything to get too worried about, but rather the movie itself.

There goes my Saturday night plans. I guess I can go an hope that a bunch of teeny poppers go and their screams can at least make me jump.

Okay, sorry if this was mentioned before... but...

The illegal version you have watched is the WORKPRINT. It was the version shown to test audiences last fall. As you may know, that showing was reason for the reshoots. The film shown in theatres will be entirely reconstructed and feature many reshots - including a new ending.

Word of mouth; workprint = let down. theatrical = highly improved.

I know it is the workprint. And it was shown in April, not last fall.

Quite frankly, the only difference between this one and the final theatrical version is...number of deaths have been increased (6 extra gory deaths), and a new ending which is more faithful to the original. Other than that, the whole movie stays basically the SAME, with one or two cuts here and there.

About this copy verses the theater copy...

Theater copy has :- 6 more death scenes. A different more gruesome death scene, some additional sanitarium scenes and an alternate ending (similar to original).

This workprint copy has :- Many nude scenes that were erased in the final cut as well as a very graphic rape scene. It was toned down to get an R rating.

I dont wanna spoil it just yet...just watch it in a couple days time. And tell me how YOU like it.;)
