Picked up Farcry 2. Been playing it a while, but its still taking some getting used to.

Are you not into fps games generally?

No, the story just confused a bit at first. Map editor as well. Ive been playing it a little bit more and have become more accustomed to it though. Its a good game counting the online play.

Single player not so much so?
Too bad if so, I really liked the mission of the first one.

Gears of War 2

if you liked the first....you will love this one.

Prey

Holy shit, how did I miss this one for so long? The graphics and animation in some parts are a bit dated, but the story, acting, gameplay, walking upside down, portals, spirit walking, jesus, the list goes on. Fucking brilliant.

Oh, and the duke-nukem esque voice over rules.

My son works at a video store

Taking a break from Fable II. I've been playing The Outfit a little bit.

It's not that bad. It definitely has its weaknesses. I'm not a huge fan of being forced occasionally to press particular buttons in a particular order to make a particular character do things (climb, etc) that aren't relevant for most of the game.

The game isn't great, but it's not bad. I think that the graphics are pretty brilliant at times and the beasties look really cool. It's fairly redundant, though. I wish it wasn't so linear.

What other problems do people find with this game? I've heard complaints about it - Who else has played it? What are your thoughts?
