What's Nash the Slash like? I tried to find some of his stuff yesterday because you've got me intruiged, but I can't seem to find any.

his 1st few albums are instrumental (they're my favorite)

they're natural horror soundtracks ..

he plays a modded electric violin and mandolin .. the sounds are modded and layered .. it's impossible to describe ..


Later he started doing vocals and his songs became more rock-oriented .. but his early instrumental stuff is what grabbed me.

If this guy was american instead of canadian .. he's be mentioned along with Tangerine Dream and Danny Elfman as a top choice for film soundtracks.

If anyone ever makes a proper Lovecraft movie .. this would be the guy to score it.


Rich, deep, haunting, threatening scores .. nothing cheap sounding .. he's the real deal.

House on Haunted Hill with Vincent Price. Such a good movie, I just love Vincent Price!

One of my all time favorites. Creepy, atmospheric...just a fun, brilliant piece of film.
