She looks like she's trying to steal the kid in the second picture. LOL!

I wouldn't put it past her HF:).

Like most dogs, she follows the kids about and hangs around the table at their meal times cause she knows there'll be plenty of 'men overboard'. Toast crusts are her achilles heel.

My rescue collie singled out my fussy eater son from an early age as he surrupticiously used to pass her food under the dining table!..Shes 13 now and still manages to snaffle away fodder hes trying to dispose of ! Double act!

Freda the 3-Legged Kitten is now Freda the 3-Legged Cat.

Got her a cool cat house. On Day one she played with the box and ignored it. Day 2 - had no box to play with but still ignored it. Day 3 - Moved it...

Real healthy looking and run through the house like when they were kittes,

They just made the age of 7.

They are brothers and from a post Katrina litter.

I don't know what I would do without them!

Duchess!!! What sweet boys! Thanks for sharing.

And what a wonderful person you are for adopting them!

...

Ferox - Great pic!!!

I feel a little bit like I'm playing the Sims when I introduce new toys or furniture to my cats... Just like in the Sims when my little "people" would check out new items, I watch my cats checking out their new digs.

Even though they have a cat tree with two "caves" they both prefer to fight over a single cushy bed. Go figure.

IS that a Chillian Rose?

I had one too - they are meant to have a nice temperment but my one was vicious as hell. Maybe She was just a cunt, simple as that. Poor thing died during her second moult.

No,shes a curly tarantula(the nicest ones)..Shes had a rough time and had to be hand fed after a partucularly nasty moult where she lost a leg.Shes grown it back now and has a voracious appetite and hunts like a sneaky bitch!Liable to jump at your fingers when youre throwing in food...no getting this lady out for cuddles now!!Elsie doenst really suit her as a name, she should be called Demon hell bitch or something* shudder*.

Did she get spayed?

Ferox13 10-12-2012 03:07 AM

Yes she did...

We were meant to put one of those cones on her when we got her home to stop her nipping her stitches. The vet never realised how much she lowers her heard as she walks so it was hitting the ground - Poor Freda freaked out :-(

Don't know if I ever posted the little guys. Splinter is the white one with hair, named after TMNT and Willard is the hairless baby aptly named after the reason I love rats.

I love your little guys. I saw a hairless rat in the pet store and begged Mark to get it (you know, to go with the cats)... But for SOME reason he said No.

On an unrelated note - How do you get the background white like that? Do you have a studio, or do you PhotoShop? It looks really cool.

HA! YES!!

BookZombie - Right. It's true that hairless rats have a disease... In fact, so do hairless cats. It's called ALOPECIA, non-transferable and ultimately harmless.

It was actually taken by my friend Misha Photography, in her basement studio. She has rats herself, and does really good pet photography so I had her take some pictures before I put them on the plane to BC.. just in case.
