High Tension- Supposedly edited, but I don't care
Undead- Me like zombies
War of the Worlds- Fuck Tom Cruise
The Cave- Formulaic, I'll still see it
Dark Water- Looks creepy, Jennifer Connelly rocks
Domino- Fuckin' aye, comeback for Mickey Rourke
Skeleton Key- Voodoo is straight-up stupid.
The Corpse Bride- Johnny Depp + Tim Burton = good

some mixed opinions. ill probibly see them all this summer, might wait for video on skeleton key and dark water, mabey the cave will be good but it might still flopp. as for the others i think that they will all be sucsesful, some more than others( undead and high tension wont do as well as the others in the box office.

I remember the old version on vinyl, and it was about the same but the martians prety much took over the world. Ihope in this version, we all burn to the ground.

H.G. Welles, with an "e". I'm sorry, there's something wrong with me, I'm a fucking perfectionist, I had to correct it. But in all seriousness, Urge is so 100% right. The setting made the book, 20th century London, and when I watch the trailer I just kind of feel like theres something huge missing. And thats because they have Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning starring in a 21st century (and I have to use Urge's comparison here) Independence Day. And yes, Slasherman , the book is highly recommended.

But I liked the looks of Undead and High Tension, and Corpse Bride kind of caught my attention. But Kung, you didn't put Land of the Dead in there. I'm hella looking forward to this one.

P.S. Ralph, I can guarentee you won't see anyone burning with Steven Speilberg directing. You know it's gonna be more of a PG-13 action movie than a horror movie.

I put Undead in my Netflix queue though I haven't looked recently for when it will be released. I also heard about Stink of the Flesh recently and think it sounds pretty cool - I love all the new zombie movies coming out! I will probably check out Dark Water because I like Asian horror and the remakes always have me curious. I just read in another thread that High (Haute) Tension is going to be dubbed so although I was really anticipating it now I may wait for the DVD.

i watched high tension a couple of months ago, it is known as switchblade romance here in the uk and without spoiling it for you it is brutal
