If you can't make it GOOD without meat, you ought to experiment a little more with spices and the like.
Besides yknow? People eat too much mean nowadays...

Do you consider broth as use/ consumption of meat? I eat that stuff with noodles a lot, and i always considered them a mainly vegitarian dish. Not that i am vegitarian.

its still animal fat, so its meat.

haunted,
you can make a key lime cheese cake but its not a cheese cake, I like the kind you bake cause, um thats how I like to make them! :D Do you usually use gelitin, I like a more traditonal pastry.

Cheeba,
you could easily do a ganashe on the top of the pie, or chocolate coat the bottom of the crust or even swirl some melted milk chocolate through out the pie like you would marble a cheese cake. Its not going to curddle, if you mix the eggs in first with the sweetend condinsed milk, however, and walked away for a minute you would have curdled eggs/cooked eggs all through out your pie. Learned that one the hard way making creme brules

I don;t know how to make just a little, and where I eat meat a lot of my friends do not and when I make soup I usually make about 5 gallons SO I share ;) I take my soup around town and drop it off at people's houses and then freeze the rest portioned out in those disposable tuberwear things. I love those things.
