Bruce said in an interview that all the Ashton talk is just a rumor that got started from an off the cuff comment he made, there is no validity in it.

They should make the character's name be "Bruce" to give props to the man who made the part what it is.


Plus Bruce is just a badass name. Seriously Bruce Campbell, Bruce Willis, Bruce Springstein. They just kick ass.
