It started pouring on us on the hike, and the waterfalls were RAGING.

I went to the islands a couple of times in the 70's...got to visit an old farm on Maui and took a bath in the furo, which is a big metal washtub sitting on stacks of bricks, and there is a fire underneath to heat the water. This was quite an interesting experience!
