That's funny I didn't relize that :p
How do they have the trailer for it ?

Last House on the Left is one of my favorite movies, I dont want to see a remake of it, their is no way they can do that movie justice, it will prolly just be a water downed PG-13 piece of crap, any good part will prolly be taken out to fit into the 15 year old demographic.
Their gonna totally screw up a classic movie...again.

Screw The Remakes

Damn all these remakes! Is it possible that people's imagination is THAT limited?? We want NEW movies, not watching good old ones getting screwed over and over again!!!

Yes I know this has been said a thousand times but if I read about another remake in the next 5 minutes I'll have to do something crazy. And that will probably happen because I'm browsing the forum now.

there is no way this movie could have gotten remade in todays climate without the recent spate of grind house homage films (hostel, wolf creek, haute tension)

i was suprised to see someone touch this one again .. but i guess i shouldnt have been.

it was inevitable tho......why dont producers go back to flicking through books and comics stores to get their 'fresh' ideas....grrrrr

just seconds after reading this headline, and just seconds before typeing this i looked towards the heavens erected my middle fingers, and screamed at the top of my lungs "NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO", for a good 15 seconds. followed shortly by a loud "SON OF A BITCH", and then mummered to myself "god damn it".

i think that basicly expressed my feeling on the subject.

any questions?

that's the thing with remakes... they're all about getting new folks to see 'em and spend the money. its hard to recreate a movie like that simply because it came out when it did. it was a different time. i mean, movies like Last House and Chainsaw had people vomiting in the theaters... it's impossible to do that now. remakes are only there to "polish" up movies, which ruins them.

i mean, how can the redux that rape scene and not, A)water it down to lose its effect or B)take it out all together? and the scene with the mother... man, it's just so sad that movies are all about money now, and have nothing to do with art. horror used to be art, but now its just a way to get teeny-boppers to the theaters... fucking sad...
