those are mean bastards...

when we were kids we once witnesses something crazy (and horrible). there was a commotion in the creek that ran through the park we played in and when we went to see what it was - we saw a muskrat and a snapping turtle having an epic battle.

dont remember if we saw who won but it was insane.

anything that tries to take on a snapping turtle must be nuts.

Those fuckers are evil, I remember asking the animal control guy if it was rabid or something, and he said "No, I don't think so, they pretty much all act like this."

I'm a little disappointed that this is about raccoons. I thought there was news of a People Under the Stairs sequel.

My dad had a raccoon as a pet when he was a kid. They found it injured and in the wild and nursed it back to health and then kept it for awhile before releasing it. They never had any problems with it.

I think if you find one injured or as a baby you can tame it, but as for one in the wild. A wild animal is a wild animal, and you don't know what they're going to do.

I'm having a feud with some mice at my pad at the moment.

in my old apartment there was this raccoon who would just sit on the fire escape out my window and stare at me for 5 minutes, then leave, then come stare at me again, then leave, and so on. such weird creatures.
