I didn't start a thread calling for mods to take action against it, you did.

Asking the mods to moderate? I don't think expecting mods to keep the juvenile clique, that makes it a point to run off prospective members, in check is out of order. Are you threatened by a shake up of the status quo you have established?

See? This is why people might come to the conclusion that you don't know what you're talking about. I asked for proof; you couldn't give it; your argument was moot; and still you insist that you have some sustainable position. That's the very definition of an argument made and lost.

But this is not about that thread.

Ok so. It's alright for you to tell people to go google. one of your "proofs" Yet not for others?

I had a link to the source material, and the summary of the findings. You had, and still have, nothing.

Again, this isn't the thread for this. Go put some sort of basis for your argument in that thread.

telling them how to do their job, yes.

I've never been "moderated" even when "It Stops Now" was first created and the mods "had some balls" as you said.

That's their failing. Because you definitely need "moderation", with your flaming campaign towards new members.

I told Posher, and I'll tell you--this isn't your private clubhouse, where you hold court and pass decision on who stays and who goes.

I don't decide that, the new members do.

I do not feel compelled to flame new members, I've gone out of my way on a few occasions to make new people feel welcome.

Right. "Feel free to stick around, but you have to put up with me being a bitch towards you, because the mods allow it and won't do anything about it."

"A few occasions." As long as they get in line behind you right off the bat, isn't that what you mean?

It's funny, when Fangoria closed and HDC got a flood of new members who were brazen about their intentions (I seem to recall some posts to the tune of "we're going to take over these boards"), banning was swift, while the ingrained trolls of HDC were allowed to continue business as usual. THAT was hypocrisy.

And no, MD, I will not be your "friend," because I don't like you, and I have no intention of joining the merry band of douchebags. People on a message board don't have to "like" everyone else, but they should be able to post without the approval of the "cool kids".

Thank you Fugly Stick

Thank you, you doll face you. That thing runs amok and a lot of people think its okay. That thing is the biggest douchebag and treats newbies like shit unless they agree with her POV. Between you and me I think it might be Glenn Beck, or Rush Limbaugh. or OMFG Ann Coulter.

Fugly you rock:D

At the top of that page is the name of an entire motherfucking genre. We have the word horror. I don't think enough of you appreciate that. When people want to talk about horror, they come here. Why? Because we are HORROR.MOTHERFUCKINGCOM. If there are ten people who are comfortable saying anything on HORROR.MOTHERFUCKINGCOM, then we've got a problem. murderdoll, you're great, clever, fun and culture savvy, but you are Horror.com's OJ. I don't mean to stifle your sexy, sexy misanthropy, but your capacity to bukkake all over social mores is meant to be a weapon for good and not for casual cruelty. There are many things in this world worse than this board having new people participating in discussions. The thought of a world where that would be the biggest conflict makes me think this might be one of those awful parallel universes where some member of the X Men was killed. Let's just stop being shitty to each other and expand our definition of "each other" to include the remaining 4% of horror fans on the internet who have not tried to join this board and decided to leave after a day of being deluged with insults. Fuglystick, thanks for having the balls.
