The Thing about this movie is the 2 shockers at the end: pigs blood and the hand coming out of the grave. Was freky stuff back then the last scene may have been the scariest scene I have ever seen. but to pull this off it would have to have a new direction with the movie. otherwise to suspence is already gone.

I also think Julianne Moore would do great as carries mom.

The first one sucked, the remake sucked more and this remake will suck the worst. The master got it right the first time. His name is Stephen King!

Can't help but worry about this one. Obviously has to go in a new~ish direction (scene for scene not possible given the lead actress's age) yet the only still I've seen is a direct redo.
