Holy Jesus no. We need a lifetime movie with this majestic creature. You know one of those cheesy ones where some girl who feels like no one understands her finds her inner self confidence and strength through the friendship and love of a horse.

Does the girl get eaten at the end?

*HELLA huge list of terrible shark related movies*

Baron, no, you're supposed to help me kick my bad habits, not encourage them! ::stick out tongue::

Depends if you want a happy ending or not. If so then yes.

Roiffalo 05-11-2016 11:32 PM

Out of curiosity I decided to mark the ones I've seen. I might as well keep track of them now.

red = seen
silver = I refuse

Some of these I did see but either don't remember for sure if I did or I only caught part of it.

You've seen and are willing to see more trash, but for some reason you refuse to see Sharknado? May I ask why?

Shark Week was probably on the list. I think I deleted the ones that featured existing sharks.

Now how did I know you'd ask that. In hind-sight I should've better prepared a reply, but of course I did not. I can sum it up by saying, "I'm a hipster". I hate the overhyped attention it's getting and how it panders to a simple minded audience. Yeah I watch bad movies too, but I don't encourage them to make more.

Existing sharks? I'm sure a lot of these do, but consider this. There is no such shark that could survive a tornado then continue devouring helpless citizens like goldfish crackers.

So? Who cares what other people do or think?

I deleted the movies that had a more serious approach to the subject and/or the ones that featured normal, existing sharks in normal situations.
That doesn't include a shark tornado so I don't understand why you point it out.

Roiffalo 05-13-2016 11:23 PM

I dunno, they just don't appeal to me. Might also be because I don't have any interest in natural disasters. Granted a tornado with sharks in it isn't natural, but it still has a tornado. I prefer supernatural or mutation nonsense.

Fuck I can't keep my mind straight. Blame the ADD.
So you took off movies like Jaws and such?

Answer's a bit late, guess I missed it.

Have you already heard about the movie Meg?
That's a shark movie I wanna see.

Roiffalo 08-13-2016 11:32 PM

Did you revive this cause I watched Shark Lake? ::big grin::

But, no, I haven't even heard of it. I'll look it up right away.
I still look forward to seeing The Shallows. It was over played on TV but the first time I saw the trailer I was actually impressed. Course that might have been because it was in the theater and somehow that atmosphere makes every trailer a "must see".

EDIT: Just looked up Meg. Thought it sounded good so I ordered it.
