That was a great show! And I swear there was an episode of, Lost, that referenced it without even saying a word. That was cool! Or...you know...I was just imagining that. Pretty sure it happened, though.

Maybe the episode where Courage, Eustace, and Muriel were stranded on an island? That felt a little like Lost lol.

No, it was an actual episode of Lost. It was something that, if you weren't familiar with the cartoon, you would have never even known it was there. Like a very big, but very obscure reference.

Not really. I'm not into the newer cartoons.

really? Rick and Morty is awesome! The episodes are so diverse from one to the other and I personally think it's the best adult swim show in years.

I haven't really watched adult swim in years, but if that show is as good as you say it is then maybe I'll check it out someday. ::smile::

well a lot of people usually only watch one or two episodes, usually the first one or two episodes and they make up their mind based on those but each episode is so different. Think of it like an R-rated Back to the Future with Multiverse hopping like Stewie and Brian did in that episode of Family Guy. I mean the humor is everything from Ranchi to obscure but it tells a good story and some of the episodes are so fucking funny while some of them are actually meaningful and make you think about things. I think it's the perfect blend for an adult cartoon for people who are looking for something funny as hell but can also make you think. And another thing, most people only really know about the pickle Rick episode. I don't know why that's the most popular episode but there is a specific reason behind him turning himself into a pickle. There are much better episodes than that one though so I would really recommend checking it out. If you have Hulu the entire series is on there But if not it comes on every week night at midnight. it would just be a little easier to follow if you watched it in chronological order though.

I think they have it on Hulu so I might check it out on there.

I wish I could watch Courage the Cowardly Dog again. :-(

I love how some of the episodes were obvious references to old horror movies.

The Katz Motel was obviously a reference to The Bates Motel from Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho

Freaky Fred was obviously a reference to Sweeney Todd

The Demon in the Mattress was obviously a reference to The Exorcist

Everyone Wants To Direct was obviously a reference to Night of the Living Dead (the zombie film director even looked like George A. Romero)

1000 Years of Courage was obviously a reference to Planet of the Apes (with bananas ruling the world instead of monkeys)

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dog was obviously a reference to those old kung-fu action movies like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

I could go on and on. ::smile::
