I would die for a animal. I think a animals life is more worthy then a humans.. But I just love my animals.. If I had a farm , Oh what a great farm it would be hahahhaa..

werd. but thing is animals are a simpler form which makes em more innocent. whereashumans can make decisions. animals just see one way, the eat, sleep, go potty, be happy way!
which is why.. i wouldnt sacrifice my life for one. i mean, if i die, my dogs will get new owners. dogs dont cry about 'oh boo fucking hoo i have cancer wah' like humans do. nor do they dwell but yeh, i hafto agree... a lot of times i like aniamls better than people. but, also, i work with special olympics kids, and yeh.. those kids are like animals. a lot of them are very nice, not a cruel bone in their body, but its obvious why - mental incapability. |
What. Do you think animals dont give a fuck about having there owners go bye bye.
They sook. cry all that shit too. I mean if you have had a dog that has been sad. Like yknow, if your upset about shit they tend to know. Cats are stupid. Thats cause I have grown up with dogs then I get these 2 crazy things. I love dogs. Trying to find one now. They always cheer me up. |
Yeah. I would feel bad though if I didn't at least try. You have your pet, you are their primary care giver. They depend on you for everything. Food, a bed, bathroom, water, companionship, everything. Like, if someone broke into your house and started to attack you, I'm sure your dog wouldn't say "Well, at least the neighbors have a nice big back yard." Your pooches would be all over that person without a second thought. You have my back, I have yours type of thing. They count on you man. That's what trust is all about. No doubt that if my cat got out, and was crossing the road when a car came, and it was going to hit her, I would jump out in front of the car. At least then they might try to swerve. If I didn't, I would be too scarred for the rest of my life. :(

additionally, both of my dogs are adopted, as were the 2 before them, as will any of the dogs i have for the rest of my life animals, in a way, are much smarter than us. yes, of course they'll be sad. but guess what, they move on. and like i said, as i think they are smarter, i somehow doubt they would want us to die for them. they live and breathe for their owners, and would try and protect us (i read this book a while ago, about aniamls saving their owners. there was one where a bulldog bit an electrified line that his owner was stuck on. the dog ended up dieing, but it took the shock adn the kid was able to get away.) not to mention, with me dead tos ave my dog, my dog will die in 5 years anyway. and with me gone, that will be how ever many more dogs i WONT be able to save from the pound??? |

get what im sayin? like dogs just want to be around you, but the cat will walk around the house, say hello to you, leave.... come back.... you want to pet the cat and it doesnt want.. LOL. but yeh, my dogs follow me around all day. when iget home from the weekend, or from school or whatever, theyre really happpy and are with my constantly. |
while were on the subject.. heres a b0mb ass picture of my fat dog. LOL. my cousin rules at taking pictures.
this thing is my desktop! also, i printed a biggie sized version and put it on the fridge. |
Gren, Im glad to hear that you adopt! I do too. All of mine are adopts except one. He was born into the family. My dog used to get beaten when she was a baby pup! Even her foster parent was mean to her. :( Glad I got her out of that mess. Well, my cat is a little different than most cats. She is really easy to communicate with too. She really understands. (It sounds crazy, I know.) She just picked up in understanding faster than most animals do. Maybe I feel this way because I'm so young and I don't have any children. Pets are kind of like kids in a weird training wheels sort of way. :D
Awww..... your dog is so cuuuute. |
How gorg is he.. looks like a smart ass from here. hahaha

werd. im only 20, but yeh, i dont really see myself having kids. i dunno, not only the whole idea of pregnancy kinda grosses me out but theresa ll kindsa weird shit i wanna do. and id hate to not be there for my kids, but im not gona bea housewife either. by the time i get done with school and have established my career ill be 30 and its not really a good idea to be having kids that old. also, im only 5'2.
but i know ill have dogs for forever. the thing that sucks thougha bout the poubd is theres easily 5-7 dogs in EACH kennel, and u hafto pick only one :(. i want to save them all, but theres JUST no way. the 2 dogs i have now fell into my lap -t the first one, Lucky, was at the pound. BUT the lady had come up to me and my dad and aksed us 'want to see my dog.' as in, i think she saw the conditions of the pound and was changing her mind bringing her dog in. but she saw us and we took her. as for the one ^^^ above, that buffoon is one of the bastard children of my aunt and uncle. they gave her to us cuz they were afraid that the father would try and do her since she was getting closely to mating age. id love to have a cat, but i dunno, their a litle too 'docile' is the word im thinking of. not wild enough, that and im not really into kitty litter or the fact that if they get out they might kill some baby birds. i do like scottish folds though!!! (kinda chubby like, with tiny tiny ears). i have a thing for fatty aniamls, whether its a lot of fur, or just plain fat :) |
Oh man, my cat is so not mild. Her breed is a Norwegien Forest cat. Way back in the day, they used to travel with the Vikings and protect their food stores. If that is an indicater to her personality. At mearly one year old, she is bigger than any average three year old cat. She also has two more years of growing! I have never met an animal with more personality. I look forward to at least 18 more years with her. :)
Note:not my cat, but looks just like her. same color and everything. I don't have any of her pics on the compy. |
Im 23. Dont want a kid till im in a full time job and have a place where im gonna stay for a good amount of years..
But my animals are here, they will keep me company. Im happy with them haha. I wish I could own heaps of dogs. No yappy ones tho. |
I'll be 20 in July. I can't see myself with children. Maybe after I find a good carreer, but that wont be for a while. I want to see the world. Join the Peace Corps, travel through Europe, things like that.

o0o0o0 i like that cat!! ^_^. anyway, every cat ive met ive liked. but i dunno, i guess im just a dog person. i like how they constantly folow you around, sit with u, LOL.
anyway, i live in San Diego and plan on staying here, if i cant support a child financially then i wont even bother. the house my parents bought back in 94 was $200K, now is $700. it sucks real bad out here. so i guess a lot of it is monetary value. i want to be able to put them through scohol and such, there no way i would want to raise a kid on some fuckin $15/hour. thats lame. i guess i kidna value my independence too much to have someone fully dependant on me. as for animals? well, in my case my dogs.. i used to have single dogs. but now that ive seen how much better it is to have frineds for them, i will never have them alone. lucky (i wil put in a picture) was alone for 3 years (i adopted her when my Penny dog was alive, but she livd for only 5 days after we got lucky. She was old one). anyway, for 3 years she was alone until we finally got minnie. now, she seems a lot happier and less dependant on me. i mean, she likes to hang out, but im glad she has someone of her kind to hang out with. so i wonder, if they would die for each other?? ^_^ Lucky someitmes couldnt give less of a shit about min nie and loves to get away from her. as much as minnie tries to fight with lucky, if u separate them she starts crying. its the funniest thing. if lucky is missing i Takl to minnie 'Minnie, wheres lucky?' and she immiediately starts whining, running around looking for her. BUT if its the opposite and Minnie is missing, I tel lucky "Lucky, wheres Minnie?' and she just sits there. LOL!!! |

i love animals, all animals .. and i respect them more in some ways because they know how to live on the earth in harmony - until we came along and fucked everything up for them.
that being said - if i was driving down the street and a cat/dog ran in front of me forcing me into the path of a kid (if i was to avoid hitting the animal).... then someone is going to need a new cat/dog |
Agreed Urge. Interesting that you are the only one to bring up that type of situation. :)

I don't hate animals, but like you I just can't value the life of an animal over another person. I think it's ridiculous. |
That's where you may be getting technical. My cat, or a crazy psycho, child rapist..... MY CAT!!! Hands down. A child or my cat. The child.
