This beats all

Any which way but loose

Any which way you can.

I dont know there is something about bare knuckle fights, Orangoutangs, bikers, truck drivers, mechanics, lost love, a crotchty old woman, and bad country music. Plus the lead characters name is Philo.

It dont get any better than that.

Makes me long to return to the hillbilly havens of southern California.

Marroe 06-24-2005 06:51 PM

sometimes I have these nights where I feel a little too single, and I order pizza, and pig out on sour punch straws....Oh yeah, I rent some Kate Hudson flicks, and watch Sex and the City on dvd:o

Haunted 06-24-2005 06:54 PM

The Prince of Tides is still one of my favs. I watched it today as a matter of fact.

I also still get emotional about the Sally Field movie: Places in the Heart.

filmmaker2 06-24-2005 06:56 PM

S Club 7, Pokemon, and the Partidge Family. Oh yeah: I also like "Breakin' 2 Electric Boogaloo," and "The Apple."

Does anyone know how many times you have to watch this movie to get every step just the way Swayze did? OY!:o

Did you actually accomplish that without injuring yourself? Because, if you did, I have to say, I'm impressed....:D

Of course, I am easily impressed.....;)

urgeok 06-25-2005 04:58 AM

I figured you would like those movies, being the Eastwood fan.

I love every movie he has ever been in.

Even Honkytonk Man and Bronco Billy.

Hey, I liked Howard the Duck, too!

Well, I didn't "like" like it, but I didn't dislike it. Is it just me or is it almost impossible to find a copy of that film?

Don't worry... if "Pippy Longstockings" can make it on to DVD, "Howard the Duck" can.

I mean, it DID have the best interspecies love scene ever...

;) Totally a guitly pleasure..... I love them all especially The Breakfast Club....... Judd Nelson is the coolest movie rebel ever in that film. They almost make me wanna go back to high school, wonder if I could pull it off 21 Jump Street style?

Extreme Guilty pleasures:

Homeward bound. I always get a little misty eyed at the end when the Golden Retriever comes limping over the hill.

Tommy Boy: Can't help it. Toooooo funny!

There are others, but I don't want to soil my reputation.

filmmaker2 06-27-2005 07:40 PM

I love THE GREEN SLIME. That's a great movie! Lots of fun and nice and serious.

alkytrio666 06-27-2005 09:34 PM

I forgot about a big one for me. Any of the Muppets movies. I love them. The Muppets Take Manhattan is my favorite.

Nope, not a thing wrong with liking The Frighteners.....I love that movie. Of course, I enjoy just about anything Jeffrey Combs is in, even if it happens to be crap. He always adds a little something special, I think. :D But I really do think that The Frighteners is a decent movie.
