Perhaps if it's been 24 hours, a players second in command should have the choice to make the call in their stead?

I don't really want to be one of the team leaders or anything like that, but I am gonna start sending PM's to V for our teams turns when I see the thread updates...

If a team leader/ FIC is not online for the first 24 hours for a particular scenario, any member of that group can come forward and assume pole position for their group and send me their PM, as well as a copy of that PM to the group's leader and FIC. I will announce the unavailability of the team leader/FIC as soon as the first 24 hours are up.

It will particularly be useful in the future when individual items will be up for grabs through group challenges - winners will win that item for their group, losers will NOT get THAT item. There will be no time bounds, of course.

I have received Straker's PM. Expect an update within the next 24 hours.

That's a fair option but then how a team member(s) would get bitten? You know...just trying to provide a 'twist' in the contest!:D
