The Vanishing, orginal version, I think it was Dutch...great movie.

It was much better than the "happy hollywood ending" of the remake.

Didn't know there was an original.

Even though the remake was directed by the same guy he did lighten up on the ending as opposed to the original.

I had seen the remake some time ago, and agree that the ending is quite a bit more subdued then the orginal.

I´m not gonna see the original then. The american version was dark enough for my taste. Great movie though.

Angels in America. Well its not really a movie but its a really great Series starring Al Pacino.
