I thought it was a great episode that built Rick back up as a leader instead of the farmer he turned into. I'm interested to see what they do with the Terminus storyline next season.

OK, so, I guess I'm insane. ::big grin::

nice to finally see Rick take control again.

next season should be a bloodbath

What a weak finale.
Half the episode was made up from flashbacks.

Yes, I didn't much like the finale...it was ok...

I'm a little confused about the "termites".
See, most of them seemed to be pretty reasonable.
They made sure not to shoot anybody, instead, "herded" them which only happened after a perceived act of aggression.

Though...they did have Glens things, and the regulars did run past what seemed to be a pit full of bones.
Could give some credence to the whole cannibal aspect, as could herding them, might be more of a "keep stock alive" type thing.

Then there's the signage at the memorial, things like "never again" and not to trust anyone, which implies more that THEY had been antagonised and lost their own in the past.
Though I suppose that could have lead them down a dark path, who knows.

Still no sign of Beth...though when they were running through, it did sound like someone was calling out for help.

It could be, they just have a zero tolerance policy against acts of aggression, and everyone that comes in is a bit on edge after the prison thing, and have managed to make the wrong impression - ending up with being put in the carriage, until they can be properly dealt with/reasoned with.

Who knows.
I mean I know we're supposed to think they're all evil cannibals or some such, and that may be true...but, I'd say there's a chance that's not the case.
There's also a good likelihood that they're split down the middle about how they live (resulting in new ongoing cast members), or that some of them are ignorant to any wrongdoing.

Will be interesting to see how it unwinds.

The Terminus Cult looks like a crazy bunch.
I don't think they actually take in outsiders because that's just more mouths to feed.

My guesses for the upcoming season
-I'm quite sure at least one cast member will get eaten. Could result in another 'quest for vengeance' storyline.
-They'll meet other prisoners and Beth will be among them.
-There was a spark earlier between Beth and Darryl so they're gonna continue that storyline some more before killing it off.

OCTOBER 12

That's
the date season 5 starts.

I have been without cable tv, indeed any tv for quite some time, so I'm catching up on season 4 via Amazon instant video. I just watched the episode where Daryl and Beth burned down the house, which I found to be a very touching episode.

Still haven't seen the finale, so I don't know anything about terminus, but here's the season 5 trailer...

Here's an article on the next season:

Cool, not too long a wait. I can live with that. Yes, that was a great episode! I think last season did some of the best character development of all the seasons -- very emotionally-driven. There's another episode that will blow your mind, but I can't remember if it's before or after that episode. (I think after.)

**SPOILERS**

Yeah, I was half expecting to find out Beth was eaten last season, but I think you're right -- they're going to want to get a little more out of the Beth/Darryl relationship.

SPOILERS

I'm all up to date, and I really liked this season. A lot of really major developments took place. I didn't find the finale' weak at all. There were only 3 flashbacks, and they were used to illustrate how past decisions are still affecting people as time marches on.

Rick really freaked me out in the finale'. I think he's borderline insane, to be honest. I thought so when he was having hallucinations around the time Lori died. You see that look he gets his eyes when things are about to go bad? The pure savagery with which he killed those two guys... my god! I'm not saying he shouldn't have done it, I'm just saying I think he's slipped over the edge a bit.

I'm not sure about the whole Terminus/cannibalism debate. There may be a bit of that in the works, but after watching the season 5 trailer, it's clear the Terminus leader wants everyone to head to D.C.

I don't think for a minute Beth is dead. They're just biding time to make her reunion have more impact.

Rick is a wildman. He may bide his time till the moment is right, and then strike- but he always wins in the end. He'll protect his unit to the very end, with few casualties.

Eh... The Walking Dead isn't my cup of tea.
