I agree!

Even movies based on novels are better than remakes, most of the time they turn out preety good even if they ignor parts of the novel.
Some examples of good novel movies are Jurassic Park, Along Came a Spider, Kiss the Girls, Outbreak, Die Hard (the novel had a different title).

There is an extreme lack of originality with the young artists(?) in the current generation. Everything is a remake or a cover. It's the best they can muster up.

Having said that, I would like to see a movie about the Predator's home planet, culture, etc. Like someone they think is worthy and they take on the ship home for their gladiator-type arena, with like creatures from other worlds - you win, you get to go home.

Aye! But sadly movies based on games usually end up being a disaster.:(

I manged to watch a interview with John Cena where they brought this up and he said he hasn't been approched by anyone and that this is the first time he's heard that he's meant to be in it.

I say NO TO REMAKE OR PREQUEL BUT HELL YEAH TO P3!

I've noticed that. Tomb Raider sucked, Resident Evil sucked, I'm not touching Doom.
