Yeah, but it's somehow totally engrossing. It isn't just the "wierdness" either, the story is told with a real pathos and a real sense of impending dread. The effects are unnerving and the story feels like the creepiest kind of fairy tale.

Ugh I hated it.... Thought it was just a weird, random piece of crap. And darkness/light/darkness...


Those kinds of things just dont appeal to me.....

It reminds me of a story that would be presented in Struwwelpeter or a Gorey book.
