Bah! LOL! Yea. I am not an animal rights activist. In fact, I have killed and eaten a many a thing that has walked, crawled, slithered, hopped, and swam.

But I can understand why some people would really get upset at this stuff. Let's be honest. These animals deaths were mainly for exploitative reasons ($$$) than for food....yea, the natives ate the animals....they had more sense than the Italian movie producers/actors.

Animals deserve to live their lives free from suffering and exploitation. People look at animals as some thing that have no feelings. Animals have the ability to suffer in the same way and to the same degree that humans do. They feel pain, pleasure, fear, frustration, loneliness, and motherly love. Whenever we consider doing something that would interfere with their needs, we are morally obligated to take them into account. If I could take my life to stop the cruelty of animals I would do it in a heartbeat.

Yes, to answer your question. I can answer that in many accounts. I owned two golden retrieivers, one of which I still have. Two years ago my dog Max died. My other dog, was the child of Max. When Max died, he wouldn't eat, move, or do absolutely anything. It got so bad that I actually had to take him to an emergency vet and had to feed him through a tube to get food into his stomach. So to answer your question, yes, animals do have feeling just like us.

If I was told I could end animal cruelty by taking my life, I would do it.

Oh, it's okay though...We don't eat the CUTE animals:rolleyes: ...I wasn't talking about dogs...

Are you a vegetarian or something?

Some vegetarians will eat fish...Is it because they can't pet them, so that makes it okay?

LOL! You are right...but people do mistreat them. All you need to do is watch Animal Cops on animal planet....there are people doing things to their domestic animals that make me want to beat the living shit out of them.

You know, I always wondered why vegetarians do this....I mean, I keep alot of fish. I have always loved fish for pets. And you would be surprised how much personality some fish can have. Some will allow you to pet them, some will eat out of your hand. I can't imagine killing, fileting, and frying my pet though. But, the fish I don't personally know....watch out! :D

Shady, this is one you'll probably wanna skip. I know it's been covered already, but I'll reiterate... I'm not a vegetarian or an animal rights person, but the animal slaughter in this movie still made me a bit uncomfortable. Then you take into consideration all the brutally violent rape scenes and the most realistic penis hacking you'll ever see and you've got yourself one pretty damn disturbing film. I watched it with my main horror watching buddy, Nick, and my wife and all 3 of us felt so dirty after watching it that we were compelled to put in Finding Nemo.

Dogs are no different than pigs, deer, or fish. They all have feelings and feel pain and anguish. And to answer your question yes, I am a vegetarian. As for fish, I do not eat fish, and I will never touch a fishing pole nor support fishing or hunting.
