The Details

We need 2 new moderators.

We encourage members to nominate people in this thread along with listing qualities that they would look for in a moderator, so that we can get an idea of what the forum wants.

We need anyone who is interested in being a moderator to send an application in a PM to HDC Mods listing reasons why they feel they would make a good moderator here.

We are looking for people who will be impartial, keep all personal feelings out of their moderating decisions, try to attend the forum on a daily basis (we do understand that sometimes life gets in the way), feel confident that they can learn how to use the various moderating tools here, someone who has no plans to leave the forum anytime soon and can work with current moderators to discuss possible actions, complaints, or concerns.

After we have received 6 valid candidates, we will create a poll to allow the forum to vote.

The two people who receive the most votes will be our new moderators, dependent upon our administrator's participation. The administrator (Horror) has been made aware of our intentions, and as of yesterday is on standby.

The forum will soon be switching to a new format (yes, another upgrade), and we expect to have the new moderators added at or before the time the upgrade is completed.

We want to try to do this as quickly as possible while we are in contact with our administrator.
