George Romero's original Night Of The Living Dead...and Tobe Hooper's original Texas Chainsaw Massacre...These guys didn't even have enough money to use color film...Many say that the grainy texture produced by the cheap film and equipment, plus the absence of famous actors and actresses...actually added to the realism and made them work better...Pure Genius:cool:

yeah it redefined horror thats for sure

i was really pleased with savini's reamke he didnt change the story just some of the characters traits and the ending which is how a remake should be
