Just watched Dementia 13 (1963), not sure what was happening entirely but loved the scenery.

The Man With Nine Lives
Got the DVD last night. I had not seen this film since I was 6 or 7 years old. It's a neat little programmer and there is one truly terrifying moment when Karloff decides to experiment on his two rescuers. I was surprised at the tremendous amount of decomposition in the last reel of the film. They obviously used a 1950 nitrate reissue print (with Favorite Films main title).
Boris was so wonderful at making all this scientific mumbo jumbo absolutely believable. Go Cryogenics! ------------------------------------------------------------------- message ringtones download, dance ringtones free download |
THEM (1954). This was one of my Mom's favorites when she was younger and she said I would really like it when I was 10. Thought it was OK, but not more. Watched it over the weekend and think it is REALLY good. The "Gi-Ants" (showing my FAMOUS MONSTERS background) still look kind of strange, but very strong story and very good turns by James Whitmore and Edmund Gwenn. ****
