The Knack totally rule!!! "Get the Knack" is one of the best power-pop records of all time.
And if you like them you'd probably love The Plimsouls, The Producers and anything off The Romantics first record. All early 80s power-pop that all these new punkers ripped off, though most of 'em probably don't know it. I do love Green Day but I'm an 80s guy. |

We'll never get anywhere with this. Why not just enjoy what you like listening to without having to label everything? No one wrote a book on punk back in '76. The Ramones sang songs about movies. MOVIES!!! And everyone will agree that they were punk but there was no rebellion or political angle. They were just doing what they liked. But I've probably just opened a new can of worms, haven't I? by the way...I like the Monkees too. |
