But why is another name for a Cancer person (Cancerian?) "Moon Child"? Forgive my ignorance, but I have only a teeny bit of understanding of this.

All signs have a ruling planet...BUT...Cancer is ruled by the moon...That makes Cancer more emotional than any other sign...Different phases of the moon can greatly affect how a Cancer feels...And, Cancers feel everything more deeply than any other sign...They also tend to be self-conscious, and insecure (like Libras) which is why i figured Katrina had either a Cancer or Libra moon...His sun sign isn't like that, so I figured it had to be coming from SOMEWHERE....Usually, if something doesn't fit your sun sign (the sign that most people are familiar with), you can "blame it on the moon"...:)

@Mona....You have an Aquarius moon...This would help to keep your emotions from getting the best of you (you'll still have your moments though...Cancer emotions are very strong)...Because...Aquarians are cerebral, they approach things logically, and Aquarians want to know everything about anything they're interested in...They aren't overly emotional...That's a pretty good balance of sun and moon signs :)

I've actually never heard of the moon sign. Is it sorta like the chinese zodiac? And if you think its fun, then could you hook me up??? :D

Nope...Nothing like the Chinese zodiac...It's actually quite common, goes right along with your sun sign...It's just not as influential on your overall personality as your sun sign, so it's not nearly as important and is therefore, often overlooked or just neglected....However, if there is an anomaly in your personality based on your sun sign, the moon is the first thing that's looked at for some explanation (such as, where something comes from that shouldn't be there, or why something might be suppressed or missing)...

You have an Aries moon...But, your sun sign is Capricorn...So...You would be a bit more defensive than the average Capricorn...A little more likely to 'stir things up' (or just keep them going)...And more stubborn, too ;)
