Do you eat eggs, cheese, cookies, brownies, cake or ice-cream?...Do you drink milk?

If you answered "yes" to any of those...You're contributing to "animal cruelty"

Man, I hate to join up with shady's cause here, but how does taking chicken eggs and milking cows equal animal cruelty? That seems to be quite a stretch.

Ok. I can't let this one pass either. Whether you choose to participate in it, animals are always constantly hunting each other. And in many cases, without humans hunting we would have overpopulations of certain species. The deer population in the northern US is really out-of-control in some areas. Due to decades of restrictions here in my state (Louisiana), aligators have made quite a comeback...so much people find them in thier yards, under their cars, and on their golf courses.

Have you any idea how the cows are housed and restrained so that you can enjoy your milk and ice-cream?...Are you aware that they are corralled and loaded onto trucks and into their stalls with electric cattle prods?

Stuffing 10 chickens into 3x3 cages, and I'm not even getting into ALL of it, but...That's not 'cruel'?

I agree, you are getting way out of hand with this.

Just drop the whole subject. To each is own.

Yeah...Now that you're just as bad as the rest of us...

Just because you're ignorant about what you're doing, that doesn't absolve you from it

Oh I see now. The big chicken and cow farmers...the corporate jobs. I was thinking of my own experiences raising chickens and cows. My chickens live quite happy lives, and the hens could care less about me removing some eggs. And cows need to be milked once you have been milking them regularly. It would actually more cruel to go without milking a milk cow.

But yea, the big companies do have some shameful practices.

And you think that our markets are FILLED by the 'small farmers'?...Come on...
