Im sick to death of filling in application forms. I go to all the trouble to fill them in and I dont even think the people read then, I am yet to go to one interview. Maybe im just doing it wrong. Oh and what I hate more is when they dont even bother to tell you that you havent got the job.

Give it a week after you turn it in, and call them up. Say something like "hi my name is ______. I turned my application in and I was wondering if you were hiring anybody." Do it once a week or twice couldn't hurt, the more you call the more it looks like you want to work there. You probley do this though, right ?

Yeah I normally give them about a week after the date in which the forms can last be recieved then phone and enquire. Normally I am told that the forms are being processed and I will be notified by post or telephone. In some cases they already have someone lined up for the job but they have to allow others to apply anyway and so when I phone I am told the position has been filled. :(

Just say, "[their name], that's a very nice hair colour. Is it natural. And I like your eyes. So clear and bright. That's what my crosshair thinks..."

I hate those snooty school nurses who never believe you when you're ill. You go in there and it's "See how you do next lesson." when you have your fucking intestines ha nging out of your arse! Then they call your house on a weekday when the parents are obviously at work so nobody answers. Then you end up having to go across town to your nans and watch bloody daytime rubbish things like "Cowboys and Indians - The finalé" whilst eating satsumas. The best thing to do is put a bullet through your brain and save yourself from this immense boredom!
