I'm going to see this movie and it better be DAMN GOOD.

Just fuckin' see it.... I thought about waiting till it was on DVD myself. But I said "fuck it" and I wasn't disappointed in changing my mind.

I loved this film. I want to see it again, though. I drank a huge 3 dollar Pepsi and had to pee halfway through it; I didn':) t take a break; so, I didn't enjoy the last half of the movie as much. I didn't want to miss anything!

Great movie for sure, not one of my top movies of all time but still a wonderful watch. Can't believe the wife liked Batman Begins better. :eek:

The Joker gets a lot of attention because Ledger did a brilliant job playing him but Oldman and Bale both perform well and there's a lot of moral and political depth to explore. Overall it's a riot but I guess with all this "best movie ever" talk I had a different picture in my head... even though I can't fathom how this one could have been better.

I loved everything about the movie except for one thing.
Am I the only one who think Aaron Eckhart put on a pretty awful performance as Dent?
Every line was forced, his voice was sometimes two octives lower than he can control with reasonability.

Yes.

I hated Batman Begins. I still think that Christian Bale makes a shitty Batman (a good Bruce Wayne, but a shitty Batman), but Heath Ledger truly steals the show. And Gary Oldman's talent wasn't wasted this time. He had a beefier role and was quite good. Also, they got rid of the abysmal Katie Holmes and replaced her with Maggie Gyllenhaal. The role itself is still insipid and poorly written (as most comic book ladies are), but Maggie does a much better job with it.

It still suffers a bit from some poor editing decisions and it runs far, far too long.

However, it's definitely worth seeing in the theater.

My girlfriend agrees with you wholehearted...I think you're both insane :p
