If you don't like someone, you can put them on your ignore list (go to someone's user profile, click user lists, click add to ignore list).
Or you could think
"This is an online forum where people come to talk. It's nothing out of the ordinairy that'll I get negative comments from others at some point.
After all, not everybody's the same, people have different opinions and most of all, this is the internet. Why would I care what some guy in another part of the world thinks. Fuck him and his stupid opinion! I'll put him on ignore and start another topic."

Btw, I know you probably hate me by now but believe or not, I'm actually trying to help you out. It's a tough world out there. And it's even a meaner one online. Start caring less about what other people say and you'll be much happier in life.

You act as if I've never been on the internet before. This is the third forum I'm a member of, and it's the first one I've ever left. I don't need your "life help" because the way you're "teaching me" isn't terribly effective. I don't hate you, and I couldn't care less about this petty argument, but if I find myself in this sort of situation, I'm going to defend myself. I don't really care about what people think of me or say about me because if I did, I would have ended it years ago. But don't think I'm not going to defend myself in an argument. Also, I don't plan on leaving here very soon, but I was trying to show you how easily you're shrinking the number of potential active users. If I ever need any sort of life help, I'll ask for it, but I don't want help when it's not needed. Sorry if this post is rambly, but these are just all my thoughts.

This whole things spiraled out of control... Hey guys, I love you both. In a Im married with kids kind of way. Everyone chill, lay back, grab a drink and move on. I think this thread can die now.

I thought this place was about horror movies? Crazy topic.

I watched Deliver us from Evil some time ago. I'm not doing reviews anymore on movies that aren't that great. And Deliver us from Evil isn't that great. I would pass on it completely. You won't be missing anything good. I would go with The Quiet Ones. But I haven't seen it yet.

Yeah I stopped about half way through of Deliver us From Evil. It was boring. The Quiet Ones is decent. 6/10 I'd say. I've never see Jarred Harris do anything except great acting so he's always good.

Horcrux,

I don't have time to be on here very much right now but I would have answered you sooner!!

Deliver Us From Evil all the way!!! It's an awesome movie!! The atmosphere of the movie reminded me a lot of Se7en. I didn't like The Quiet Ones at all, very boring.

Just my opinion.......

Wow, there sure is a lot of energy spent on not answering the dude's question. If you think it's a dumb question then don't reply. And honestly, does this forum really have such an oversaturation of compelling conversation that an an attempt to stimulate some is so unwelcome?

It's a fair question. Two middle-of-the-road supernatural horror films that came out over the past year or so. It's a question I would ask myself if I hadn't already seen both, and if they were both in my queue at the same time.

Personally, I think both films are not great, but have some strong moments. Deliver Us is more Hollywood/accessible. The Quiet Ones suffers from being pretty boring and reliant on loud noises. I slightly prefer Quiet Ones, and it also gets pretty good toward the end. That would be my recommendation, but they're both watchable. I think there are better choices out there though.

.

I've already stated my opinion on the matter. I'm done here.

It looks like everyone recommends The Quiet Ones. I guess that's tonight's movie.

It's worth a spin, but there are quite a few 2014/2015 movies I'd put above it though. I have it at #16 out of 19 for 2015.

I have Deliver Us from Evil at #73 out of 80 for 2014.
