i'm in the process of re-watching the show myself, and i'm at pretty much the same spot.

i really love the black humour episode trend that starts in this season, like the episodes syzygy, war of the coprophages, and jose chung's "from outer space."

X-Files, Season 3, Discs 5 and 6 – After a really great middle part to this season, things feel a little slow and weak again. I hope that means they’re building up to a really great last few episodes.

The X-Files Season 4, Disc 1 – I forgot how creepy that “Home” episode is. And I totally dug it.

The Wire, Season 5 – Though the last episode felt way too long, and the series didn’t quite go out on the note I wanted it to, the season did have a lot of great moments and it was good to see things wrapped up in at least some satisfying ways.
