I'm going through the Monsters TV series for the first time in years and am almost done with the first season. It can be slightly hit and miss but has many really good episodes with my favorites being The Match Game and Sleeping Dragon. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the show stacks up.

Earlier I also added best segment of an anthology and best episode per season of a Horror TV series for variety.

The Monsters tv series has nothing to do with the two movies. The tv series are one off each episode of horror episodes. I can't remember much, but I believe they were fairly tame?

The only franchises I wouldn't say, "the first one," for would be Alien. (Alien 2). Evil Dead (I love the second movie...and the third). Probably Friday the 13th.

I've only seen pieces of any Final Destination movies, and I don't care for any of the Hellraiser or Texas Chainsaw movies.

So, yeah. The first one.

Interesting idea, but it is a topic for movies... Why not start a whole new topic in the TV show section and make a whole new list? The variety is very vast with shows old and new from Twilight Zone to Hannibal.
