A hysterical Peter Sellers flick (the scene where Clouseau snaps the cane over Cato's head in slow motion is unbearably funny) and my fourth favorite movie of all time?! Lucky guy. What school are you at? |
My last seen:
Stand By Me (1986) Really pretty damned good, and gets a special nod for the great kid acting (yeah, even Feldman), but it doesn't hold a candle to the King novella. Sanjuro (1962) A fucking blast. Akira Kurosawa was an absolute henious at this kind of escapist fare; samarai smarts, full of action, humor, and a powerful hero. For anyone who hasn't seen them, check out Yojimbo (1961) and then this one. |

was definately different, i'll give it that being kept in the dark is still no substitute for a good old fashioned massacre though :( |

Godzilla vs King Kong.
Gotta love the "natives." Booga booga. |
Mammoth
Yes! Finally! Sci-Fi Channel finally decided to rerun Mammoth for me, written of course by RoderickUsher. There were some great lines in this but I'm too tired to recite them at the moment. The deaths were perfectly cheesy and the story was B movie gold. I think I'm in agreement with Sean that this is probably the most entertaining of the films he's written (until LA Gothic comes out). Cool one from master Fulci. Great visual effects in ripping out the brains and bleeding eyes. Not a masterpiece but worth seeing for zombie-cracks. Cheers VZ |

Bourne Supremacy.
Wanted to catch up before Ultimatum at the end of the week. Didn't like supremacy quite as much as the first one, but they're both pretty good, love the fight scene coreography. You guys know there's a 4th and 5th (this year) Bourne book, written by another guy? I wonder how good those are... |
2/10
Borderline Cult A shitty Indy Horror flix put out by Lionsgate. I rented it, because the cover made it look promising. Bad mistake, that's $4.00 and 81 minutes that I'll never get back.  |

But I was wondering how good those books were as well. By the way- you should love The Bourne Ultimatum; I thought it was even the best. |

Decided to give Undead another shot... still didn't love it. I won't say I hated it as much as I did before but some REALLY ugly cgi, lame attempts at humor, and poor pacing really hurt this one for me. Some good gore (aside from some of the horrid CGI) and a decent story with a fun twist make it watchable but I would never recommend it. I think I'd bump my score from 3 out of 10 to 5 out of 10.

St. Thomas, up here in good ol' Canada. It's an arts school, which is surprisingly movie oriented (considering it's not a, you know, art school.) Then again, my high school screened Anatomy of a Murder - which completely threw me for a loop. |
