PunisherMAX #1-#5.

Just got through TASKMASTER, the most recent series.
Pretty interesting, it's good seeing an ACTUAL storyline written for this character...it would be good if they used him more in the marvel universe.
Bit of a messed up ending...
Kind've miss his late 90's look.

I actually thought that the latest volume of The Walking Dead totally kicked ass - I know I've been down on it for a while, but I think that they definitely went in a very smart and interesting direction. Really looking forward to the next one.

Whats the current setting of that volume?
Have you reached the part about the hunters yet, or?

They just found the gated community, which I thought was a good place to take it.

I think that the hunters you're referring to were in the previous volume. Honestly, would have enjoyed that storyline more if it wasn't resolved in a single volume, you know?

SPOILERS

You're talking about the hunters that are capturing and eating humans, right?

I had finished up with Dark Night Returns.

Yeah chrono, that's what I was talking about.

So have you all heard about "The walking dead weekly"? It's essentially re-releasing the whole series from issue #1 at a lower price, released weekly...I thought this was a great idea for those who have seen the show and want more, or even those that have never seen/heard of either series to get their heads into it.
Well, there's that or the collections, either's good.

I've just finished reading
*Black Panther - Man without Fear #514
Taking over from the recently possessed daredevil in Hells Kitchen, de-powered and without the technology at his disposal that he's used to relying upon, it's showing a different side of this character I was never all that familiar with. The writing is pretty good on this one and yeah, thought it would be gimmicky but it's quite well done.
The storyline started at issue #513

*Heroes for Hire (current series) #2.
Nothing, at all, to do with any of the older series.
This comic...has a very weird premise...don't want to spoil too much but it's worth picking up #1 and having a look. Some good characters of past titles in there too, and an ongoing mystery that's unfolding.
One of my favourite bit-part sometimes-hero sometimes-villain characters, "Paladin" features pretty heavily in this title, and I like the direction they're taking with him. Pretty decent read.

Hey, check out the newest issue of Macabre magazine. It's inspired by the great old Creepy and Eerie comics. The first three issues are free.
