It's weird... I know a lot of people who went to film school and none of them make movies and all the people I know (besides the old folks like Carpenter) who make films either skipped college altogether or studied something other than film in school.

An autodidact, myself.

I would say that is pretty common with people who went to film school and to a lesser degree people who studied photography and defianlly people who study fine arts.

For me, it was a location problem. Work in Baltimore is limited (and it usually goes to same people) and I didn't have the money to move to California. I needed money so I got a job in an office, which pays more, but isn't movie schedule friendly.

Now, 6 years later I'm stuck doing accounting. :(

I could get involved with hair and makeup if this ever gets that far.

hey camera man, you can only shoot me with a specific lens and I'm not going to tell you which one it is because that would be too close to doing your job for you.

and this water has been bottled too long, re-bottle it. what is this on me plate? oh, it's garnish.... remove it.

I'll be in my trailer until you need me.

Elvis_Christ 07-22-2009 12:38 AM

Call this SHIT cocaine motherfucker I will crush you.

acting ability is directly proportional to the amount of crystal meth you smoke.

I know hollywood like the back of my hand, hire me and pay me a lot because I'm worth it.
