the soundtrack to Little Shop of Horrors
my kid loves the movie and loves the music. (especially the song "feed me') I have to admit that the music in this is pretty damn good. Ellen Green's vocals in 'Suddenly Seymore' actually gives me goosebumps ... she's a powerful singer. |
oops .. since we're all posting piccies :

Well, I don't know how to do the piccie thing (so shoot me, I'm old), but I picked up Corinne Bailey Rae's CD while I was in England. Saw her on Top of the Pops and really enjoyed her voice.

I really like the SAmhain version of All Hell Breaks Loose over the Misfits recording. That's my favorite track on Unholy Passion. I saw Danzig reunite with Doyle in Hollywood it was cool, but the sound sucked ass... the boring opening bands sounded better. You could barely hear the vocals and the bass was way down in the mix.[

Maps of the Rise and Fall by Ermine Really cool album. Mixes alot of different sounds...hard rock in places, soft vocals in others, hhardcore screaming, violins, pianos, heavy guitar....Really cool album all around. I highly recomend it! EDIT - I just read on their website that they have a new album out...Im really gonna have to pick that up! |

Been listening to this one lately. http://www.limb-music.de/gfx/front/c...50x250_BYS.jpg They've been compared to AC/DC & Thunderhead....i would say thats pretty acurate. |
I've been listening to the Afghan Whigs a lot again. Such a great band, and Gentlemen in particular is on the short list for best album of the 90s. The Whigs are the greatest white soul/R&B band ever, and it's a damn shame that they're so overlooked.

There's some of the greatest tunes ever put to wax on these fuckers...... cheap sixer and wine driven sing alongs at my house. "The trees are burning in your promise land............." So what've the HDC supafreeeeeakin' kids been blasting of late? |

Can't stop listening to "Axis: Bold as Love" from Jimi "The Earth is not a Cold, Dead Place" by Explosions in the Sky and "Raw Power" from the Stooges

Rush in Rio, awesome live album. On studio recordings (since the 80's) Rush abused using synths and lost part of their "feeling" but man this live album rocks!!!
