And yah, what the hell does the ''2000'' mean?? Was that, perhaps, the year Lynch wanted 'Eraserhead' to take place in?

i figured it was released on DVD in 2000 .. or this version was.

apparently there's a more elaborate version you can get from his webpage..

the other DVDs available on the lynch webpage is advertised on the insert in my copy

Took a day trip to the states today...I could move there just for Best Buy and Suncoast. SOOO much better than the stores around here.

At Best Buy I got:

- Angel Heart SE
- The Bone Snatcher

Both of which Ive looked for at Futureshop to no avail.

At Suncoast I got:

- Bruno Mattei Double Feature- Hell of the Living Dead + Rats: Night of Terror

Im really excited about that one, never seen a Mattei film.

Elvis_Christ 04-21-2006 06:32 PM

Angel Heart is awesome, must get a copy of that myself. I've always looked at that movie Rats might have to check it out myself. I would've brought Hell Of The Living Dead just for the title alone haha :)

Have you read the book Angel Heart was based on, Falling Angel by William Hjortzburg [I probably spelled that wrong]? Ive pimped it alot around here, but thats just because it's one of the best books Ive ever read, abd is alot better than the movie. And I loved the movie, so that's saying something. I guess it wouldnt be as good after seeing the movie, considering you'd already know the ending...but still, great book.

No I haven't read the book. I'd be keen to check it out. I usually like to see the movie first then read the book because you've got an image of the characters in your mind but the writer gives you different insights in the characterization that the director didn't.
9/10 times if I've read the book first the movie is dissapointing American Pyscho was one example and the Basketball Diaries didn't impress me either.

Great collection.

The first is a classic, the second is creepy, and the third is stupid...but fun to watch in the right mood.

What's really cool, though, is the fourth disc packed with documentaries. Very interesting shit in there.

this sounds weird .. but if your life is already so crap that you have to fish for a living .. you dont deserve to drown.

CEOs of large companies deserve to drown.
