Angel is on my nightly watch list at the moment. The epiosde we seen last night was Loyalty (Season 3 episode 15). It was about Wesley growing more concerned about the Prophecy he saw that Angel would kill Connor.

I can't wait for tonight's one. The next few episodes are brutal!

I'm always fascinated by Wesley's personality transformation.

I know. He goes from geek to sleek in fantastic fashion. I love how they do it. It is interesting that he loses the glasses once he goes all dark side.

He was always portrayed as someone not to be taken too seriously until he took over Angel Investigations but the more experience he had with danger, the more it honed his ability to be a good hunter. The minute they brought him into Angel I saw that they would have more plans for than than the clutsy sidekick. I was not disappointed!

I don't really blame him for going twisted like he did. As he says, "I had my throat cut and all my friends abandoned me." Kinda sums it up!

I do love that he ended up with Fred, albeit a little too late!

I'm with you there - it's certainly a far better alien invasion type show than the "V" remake was...utterly disappointing after seeing the original as a kid, I never even bothered past two episodes.
Falling skies on the other hand, I've quite enjoyed the whole way through, though this season seems a massive improvement on top of the first.
One of the first sci-fi shows in a while I'd consider actually buying too.

I watched the first season of the V remake. I couldn't believe how bad it was. I wanted to watch the second season online but they never put it up.

That show was so bad. I tried watching the second season but eventually stopped. Falling Skies is so much better.

Smiley's People (1982)

After "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy", this is BBC's 2nd adaptation as mini-series of John Le Carre's legendary "Karla Trilogy" from George Smiley series. Another magnificent old school-Cold War-espionage tale with great sensitivity, excellent characterization & brilliant cast (where actors like Alan Rickman & Ingrid Pitt appears on a small role!). Absolutely loved it.

Lately came to know that, following the success of 2011 movie Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Gary Oldman, already stated that there is a strong possibility that a sequel will be made. He told the press that Smiley's People would be the most likely sequel. Means like BBC, they will also skip The Honourable Schoolboy, 2nd novel of "Karla Trilogy".

Falling Skies and more Breaking Bad. Almost done with Season 2. I'm really hooked on this show.

This was on TV but I missed it. Blade the anime. The first episode was pretty good. I don't think it will top Blade II. But the anime is only 12 episodes.
