Otis - 5/10
I was expecting it to be better. A few laughs here and there. It picked up speed towards the end, but it still fell flat.

one of the best lines in any film ...ever :

Carlos: So, what, were they psychos, or...

Seth: Did they look like psychos? Did they? No. They were fucking vampires. Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't care how crazy they are

Roderick Usher 07-30-2008 02:21 PM

The Doll Squad & Astro Zombies

double feature at the Grindhouse film fest. The Doll Squad was pretty awesome. Astro Zombies is weak, but I still wanted to catch it on the big screen.I'm convinced that film shaped the creature/character design of Jason Vorhees.

Living Venus.

Harvey Corman's film debut and also the directorial debut of Hershel Gordon Lewis.

A real sleazy trashorama and hilarious. If you have Comcast on demand I recommend checking it out in the Something Weird section.

This one is much better:

Kate - "Where are you taking us?
Ritchie - "Mexico."
Kate - "What's in Mexico?"
Ritchie - "Mexicans."

I just watched the old '90s pilot for "The Flash". It's 90 minutes so I'm counting it as a movie.

Fucking amazing for a TV pilot. How did this show only last a season?

Yah, the Flash was great. I watched every episode.

Today I watched 5 fine horror flicks:

-Chopping Mall (So bad it was good)

-Prom Night (The original with Leslie Nielsen and Jamie Lee - Pretty damned good)

-Sleepaway Camp's 1-3 (Loved all three movies, but I found part 2 to be my favourite - Plus the girl who played Ally was hot-as-fuck, and a great pair of tits!)

Gotta love 80's cheese. :)

Yup.

It's not hard to defend Nicholson's Oscar for that performance. :)

urgeok2 07-31-2008 06:21 AM

got through most of American Gigalo before I fell asleep.

holy dated batman ... i remember when this movie was the epitome of cool ...

It really set the tone for Miami Vice though ..

I remember popping this in awhile back and couldnt get past the first 30-odd minutes. Surprising, because I had enjoyed it quite a bit when I saw it the first time on VHS.

Times have surely changed...

The Frighteners.

Still entertaining and fun as always. One of my cherished movies.

Starship Troopers 3 2/10

This was pretty horrible with some of the worst acting I've ever seen. The only thing i like about is the tv spots in where they ask "Wanna learn more?" other than that it sucked big time.Plus its lack of full frontal female nudity was a bummer also.

Posher778 07-31-2008 05:58 PM

Batman Forever- 5/10

Eh... I knew it was going to suck horribly. Riddler is alright. I can't wait to see how Nolan creates the Riddler though.
